ProxyRise ("we", "us", "our") operates a proxy infrastructure platform that provides residential, datacenter, and mobile proxy services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding that information.

By creating an account or using ProxyRise services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service.

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information: When you register, we collect your chosen display name and generate a unique API key that serves as your authentication token. We do not collect email addresses or passwords during registration — your API key is your sole credential.

Usage and metering data: We collect bandwidth consumption metrics, request counts, proxy type selections (residential, datacenter, mobile), target country/region settings, session durations, connection timestamps, and protocol types used. This data is necessary for accurate billing and service delivery.

Payment information: When you purchase credits via cryptocurrency, we collect transaction IDs and blockchain-related metadata (e.g., wallet addresses, transaction hashes). All cryptocurrency payments are processed through third-party payment gateways and ProxyRise does not have access to or store your private keys or wallet credentials. We may introduce card payments in the future, at which point this section will be updated accordingly.

Technical and device data: We collect the IP address used to access the ProxyRise dashboard and API, browser user-agent strings, device type, operating system, and screen resolution for security monitoring and abuse prevention purposes.

Communication data: If you contact our support team, we retain the content of those communications for quality assurance and to provide ongoing support.

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Route proxy traffic to your selected regions and proxy types
• Meter bandwidth consumption for accurate billing
• Process payments and manage your credit balance
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security threats
• Enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
• Improve service reliability, performance, and user experience
• Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics for internal use
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

We do not inspect, store, or log the content of your proxy traffic. We have no visibility into the URLs you visit, the data you transmit, or the content of HTTP/HTTPS requests and responses routed through our proxy network.

Connection metadata (timestamps, bytes transferred, target geo-region, protocol type) is retained temporarily for usage metering and billing purposes. This metadata is automatically purged according to our retention schedule (see Section 5).

We do not sell, rent, or share proxy usage data with third parties for any purpose. We do not inject advertisements, tracking pixels, or modifications into your proxy traffic.

We retain different types of data for different periods:

Account information: Retained for the lifetime of your account. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.

Connection metadata: Retained for 24–72 hours for operational and billing purposes, then automatically deleted.

Billing and transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial and tax reporting regulations.

Support communications: Retained for up to 2 years after the last interaction, then archived or deleted.

Security logs: Dashboard and API access logs (IP addresses, timestamps) are retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with the following categories of third parties, only as necessary:

• Payment processors: Cryptocurrency payment gateways to process transactions and manage billing
• Infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting and CDN providers that help deliver the Service (data is minimized and encrypted in transit)
• Security services: Anti-fraud and bot detection services (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile) to protect the platform
• Law enforcement: Only when required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order) issued by a court of competent jurisdiction

All third-party service providers are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for purposes other than providing their services to us.

We implement comprehensive security measures to protect your data, including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all dashboard, API, and proxy connections
• No passwords stored — authentication is API-key-only, reducing attack surface
• API keys are unique, revocable, and can be regenerated at any time from your dashboard
• Role-based access controls for internal systems
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Automated intrusion detection and anomaly monitoring

While we implement reasonable security measures consistent with industry standards, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for breaches resulting from sophisticated attacks beyond our reasonable control.

Essential cookies: We use strictly necessary cookies for session management, authentication, and maintaining your login state. These cookies cannot be disabled without losing access to the dashboard.

No tracking cookies: We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics tools. We do not participate in ad networks or share browsing data with advertisers.

Local storage: We may use browser local storage to save your dashboard preferences (e.g., theme, sidebar state). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

ProxyRise operates infrastructure across multiple regions. Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including encryption in transit and at rest, and contractual obligations with our service providers.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data for specific purposes

ProxyRise is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via email, a notice on the dashboard, or a prominent notice on this page.

The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
